Collingwood Paddling Club

Summer Day Camp

The Collingwood Paddling Camp offers an amazing weekly camp options for families right here in the heart of Collingwood. Each week campers will participate in a variety of fun on water activities as well as on land games.

Our day camp is designed for adventurers aged 8 to 14 who are ready to explore, discover, and make memories and friendships that will leave them counting down the days until next summer. Conveniently located by the Collingwood Harbour operating out of the historic Watts Boathouse, our programming has proudly been a part of the Collingwood waterfront for over ten years.

Campers will be engaged in a wide range of fun and age appropriate water-based activities and sports, all wrapped around a weekly themes from Amazing Race to Survivor to Mission Impossible and the Olympics. From a kayaking trip to Harbourview Park for a game of soccer to paddling the dragon boat, or playing on our SUP boards, one thing for certain is that our campers make the most of their day!

No previous paddling experience is necessary, but participants are required to be competent swimmers. Campers must arrive with their own appropriately sized Personal Floatation Device (PFD), sunscreen, lunch, water bottle, bathing suit and a change of clothes. Campers will be wearing their PFD at all times when on the water or docks, but they must be comfortable in the event they tip their boat.

Every child who attends Paddle Camp becomes a member of the Collingwood Paddling Club and can paddle throughout the season during CPC “Open Paddle” hours, provided they are accompanied by a parent.

Paddle Camp costs $350 per full week and $280 for 4 day weeks and runs from 9:00am-4:00pm.
